I met Peggy some time ago and more recently, while recording my EP at Surreal Studios in Anchorage, I had my first opportunity to work with her as my Producer on that project.  There was much I didn’t know about the recording process and Peggy was both forthright and helpful with her contributions about voice and recorded sonics and fitting the pieces all together with the CD production phase.  After I finished those recordings, I began taking voice lessons with her because I knew I needed to improve that aspect of my musical performances for both live and recording projects. That voice instruction was very enlightening and assisted in kicking my vocal performance precision up a notch or two and it has been worth all the time spent on it. Lately, I’m working on another recording project and Peggy is back in the Producer seat. It is a joy to work with her and I am thankful for her contributions to my musical output. I am happy to share this appreciation of her contribution to my work and for what she does for the musical community in Anchorage and Alaska.

I starting working with Peggy Monaghan in early 2013 to work on my singing and to work on a CD of songs I wrote and some songs others wrote. Peggy brought in players to arrange the songs and played on the CD at Mirror Studios. Peggy took care of all the music, licensing, website - everything that needed to be done went smoothly. Peggy, with a trio, was the music at my wedding reception - and they got the guests on the dance floor and they enjoyed the songs. Peggy has asked me to sing in some of her shows she puts on. And now it’s 2021, Peggy worked again with my range, speaking the words, and breathing after an operation through my throat; and now we are making a video. Peggy is very knowledgable in music, and staging, her teaching is positive, and she has great humor. Peggy always brings up my energy.
